Novel Entertainment’s Horrid Henry Heads to Amazon Kids+ in the UK
All five seasons of the internationally successful animated series launching on the child-friendly subscription service from 11th October.
Oxford, UK – 11 October 2021. Novel Entertainment has partnered with Amazon Kids+ for all five seasons of its acclaimed animated TV series Horrid Henry (250 x 11’). From 11th Oct, Horrid Henry can now be found in the UK through Amazon Kids+ on Fire TV, Fire Tablets and compatible iOS, Android and Chrome devices; a subscription service offering unlimited access to thousands of kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, games and more.

Five titles launching as cards for Yoto’s screen-free audio device in June
Deal signed with distributor Findaway across eight Horrid Henry collections for its international platform network
Oxford 8 April 2021. Novel Entertainment has secured a new global deal for its internationally renowned Horrid Henry brand with dedicated kids’ audio platform Yoto. Under the partnership, five initial Horrid Henry audio titles will launch as cards for Yoto’s award-winning Yoto Player in June, including Ice Cream Dream, The Name Game, The Best Boys’ Club Sleepover, Horrid Henry’s Petsitting Service and Horrid Henry and the Walking Stick Gang.
The screen-free Yoto Player is designed specifically for children and is controlled using physical cards, which are inserted into the speaker to activate the audio content. Yoto’s audio cards can also be played through its app on compatible smartphones. The Horrid Henry Yoto cards will be available to purchase globally at https://www.yotoplay.com.
Novel Entertainment has also secured a further agreement for Horrid Henry audio content with audiobook distributor Findaway. Following the deal, eight collections consisting of five Horrid Henry stories each are now available worldwide across Findaway’s extensive network of platforms, which includes Apple, Google Play, Scribd and NOOK, in addition to existing partners including Audible and Amazon.

NOVEL ENTERTAINMENT LAUNCHES ‘STORY A DAY’ FREE AUDIO CONTENT INITIATIVE
Oxford 29 January 2021. Novel Entertainment is launching a month-long ‘Story a Day’ offering as part of their Hibernating with Henry initiative, which will see a free audio story posted daily on internationally renowned Horrid Henry’s brand new website (https://www.horridhenry.me/). Starting from Monday 1 February, the first title available will be ‘Horrid Henry and the Antiques Rogue Show’ with additional stories including Horrid Henry Computer Whizz and Horrid Henry’s Favourite Day to follow; all stories will go live daily at 1600 GMT.
‘Story a Day’ is part of Novel Entertainment’s current ‘Hibernating with Henry’ campaign, which is offering online resources and activities to keep children and families entertained and active during the current pandemic. Further activities will be announced in the coming weeks.
