Horrid Henry Competition Terms and Conditions

The Promoter is Novel Entertainment Ltd (company no. 4200942) whose registered office is at Prama House 267 Banbury Road, Oxford OX2 7HT

Competitions are open to all residents of the United Kingdom, except for employees of Novel Entertainment and anyone otherwise connected with the Promoter, the provider of the prize or prizes and/or involved in the judging of the competition.

There are no entry fees and no purchases necessary to enter competitions.

Route to entry for the competitions and details of how to enter are via the Horrid Henry website, Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram.

By entering a competition, entrants are indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.

The closing date for entries will be either midnight on the day each competition is set or as designated on the Horrid Henry Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram. After this time no further entries to the competition will be accepted.

The winner of the competition will be announced either on the day after the competition is set, or as designated on the Horrid Henry Facebook page, Twitter or Instagram.

The prize or prizes is/are as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize or prizes are not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability and the Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prize or prizes with another of equivalent value without giving notice. The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with the competition.

Competition winners will be chosen at random by software from all correct entries received and verified by the Promoter and/or its agents

Competition winners will be notified by email or DM. The parents or guardians of any winners under 18 will need to contact the Promoter either by email on or by DM within 28 days of the closing date to claim their prize. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim their prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The Promoter may require details of an address in order to post the prize to the winner. In line with GDPR winners and their parents or guardians are informed that this information will only be used to send the prize and will not be stored for longer than is necessary for this to happen. All competition winners’ names will be available 28 days after the closing date by emailing novel@novelentertainment.co.uk.

The Promoter’s decision will be final in respect of all matters to do with the competition and no correspondence will be entered into in respect of the competition or the outcome of the competition, except that which is necessary for the awarding or delivery of the prize.

Entering a competition indicates the entrants’ agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. Competition winners agree to the use of their forename(s)or username (s) in any publicity relating to the competition. Any information subsequently provided to the Promoter will be used in conjunction with the Privacy Policy found atand any personal data relating to all entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to any third parties without prior consent.

The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the Promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the Promoter.

The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
